Wireless Synchronized Clocks
Add synchronized time displays without extending a timing-signal cable to every clock position. HC Electronics wireless synchronized clocks are available for installations using dedicated wireless communication and compatible transmitting equipment.
Select the receiving clock around the transmitter it must work with, the display required and the power available at its location. For additional or replacement clocks, start with the details of the equipment already in service.
Receiver Clocks Matched to Your Transmitter
The right purchase starts with an identified clock-to-transmitter combination. Provide the manufacturer, model and available documentation for the transmitter or wireless master-clock equipment you intend to retain.
A matching radio frequency alone does not establish compatibility. Wireless equipment also depends on the communication format and receiver configuration. Do not assume that clocks from different manufacturers can receive the same timing messages simply because their frequency labels look similar.
Ask for the proposed receiver version to be identified against the transmitting equipment before ordering. Where compatibility has not been established, request an assessment rather than treating the clock as a universal replacement.
Digital Displays with Wireless Reception
HC Electronics’ digital clock range includes different display sizes and mounting arrangements. For a wireless clock purchase, confirm the available display and receiver combination rather than selecting the enclosure independently of its timing hardware.
For an existing clock position, identify what needs to remain consistent: the visible display area, time format, mounting footprint or appearance alongside nearby clocks. For a new position, describe how the display will be viewed and any limitations on its size.
Request a product drawing for the proposed wireless version. The drawing should identify the enclosure dimensions, mounting points and access needed for any local controls or power connection.
Specify the Wireless Receiver Version
Make the receiving hardware part of the purchase specification, not just the clock’s appearance. Ask for the following details to be confirmed in the product proposal.
| Purchase Detail | Information to Confirm |
|---|---|
| Compatible transmitting equipment | The transmitter or wireless master-clock models with which the proposed clock has been verified. |
| Wireless receiver configuration | The supported communication format, operating frequency and exact receiver version being supplied. |
| Channel or identification settings | Whether any selection is required and whether it is factory-set or adjustable on the clock. |
| Receiving arrangement | Any antenna-related requirements, mounting restrictions or accessories applicable to the selected unit. |
| Display and enclosure | The display configuration and mechanical drawing associated with that receiver version. |
| Power input | The electrical requirements and power accessories included with the receiving clock. |
Wireless time reception removes the dedicated timing connection; it does not remove the clock’s need for operating power. Check the supply specified for the selected hardware rather than assuming that a wireless model is battery-powered or completely cable-free.
Check Reception at the Intended Clock Position
Receiver suitability includes the place where the clock will be mounted. Distance, building materials, interference and the position of the equipment can affect wireless reception. A successful connection in an open test area does not establish reception at every indoor location.
For a proposed mounting position, mention any metal surround, recessed enclosure or protective cover. Ask whether the selected clock has installation restrictions that need to be considered before it is fixed in place.
Where reception is uncertain, discuss evaluation of the proposed receiver at the intended position before confirming a larger quantity. Agree how successful time reception will be checked, using the indication or verification method available for that model.
Replacement Clocks and Repeat Orders
When replacing a wireless clock, provide photographs of its identification label and the transmitter label, together with any original part number. Identify whether the requirement is to replace only the clock while leaving the transmitting equipment unchanged.
Ask the quotation to distinguish a verified compatible replacement from an alternative that would require other equipment changes. This keeps the scope of a clock-only purchase clear.
For repeat orders, retain the approved clock model, receiver version, power specification and transmitter reference. Use those details when ordering additional units or spares, rather than relying only on a previous product photograph.
Wireless Clock Purchasing Questions
Is the wireless transmitter included with the clock?
Request the supply scope explicitly. For a clock-only purchase, ask for the receiving clock and its included accessories to be listed. Any transmitting equipment required should be identified and quoted separately, so the order does not leave essential equipment unspecified.
Does adding another clock extend the wireless signal?
Do not purchase an additional display on that assumption. Ask whether the proposed model is reception-only or has a documented retransmission function. Any such function should be confirmed for the exact hardware version being quoted.
Can I order a larger display for the same transmitter?
Ask HC Electronics to review the required display size against the existing transmitter details. The product proposal should confirm both the receiving compatibility and the larger clock’s mounting and power requirements. A change in display size should not be treated as an automatically interchangeable product substitution.
Request a Wireless Synchronized Clock Quote
Send HC Electronics the transmitter details, required clock quantity and preferred display configuration. Include the destination country, available power and whether the purchase is for new receiving clocks, replacements or spare units.
We will review the information and discuss the available wireless clock options, compatibility requirements and supply scope for your enquiry.
